SEO is  a big word in the field of Online Marketing. My summer internship included doing SEO for the website of our company and I learned a lot about how SEO is done, what are the one time things which we need to do for search engine friendly website and what are the things which we need to do on the ongoing basis. Each and every small thing on your website matters, but the most important thing for a search engine friendly website is the content. You should spend your time with your website, to make it’s content original and unique, also u need to find  way to generate dynamic content on your website to get the better search engine visibility.

The few things which are one time include

• Relevant title: Each webpage in your website should consist of relevant title
• Headlines: Use headlines in your HTML coding to highlight the text and not simple font formatting
• Relevant Meta Tags: Each webpage of your website should have related and relevant meta tags only and the number of meta tags should be kept limited to 10 per page so that it doesn’;t count as keyword stuffing
• Relevant meta description: Every webpage should consist of relevant meta description of the content of that page
• W3C code validation: The HTML coding should be W3C validated. Though not manadatory, this helps in improving the chances of good search engine ranking

These were a few things which are needed to be done on your website to make it more search engine freindly.
